Anuja Khemka, MSW, joined Children’s Hope India as Executive Director in 2020, from the Steve Fund, an organization dedicated to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color. Prior to that, Anuja spent 15 years in corporate philanthropy, holding leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase and the Goldman Sachs Foundation. Anuja was also instrumental in launching the Goldman Sachs India Foundation. Anuja received her Master’s in Social Work and Social Enterprise Administration from Columbia University, where she was a Management Fellow, and her Bachelor’s in Business Economics from Brown University. Her work has been featured in Thrive Global, the Huffington Post, Diverse Issues in Higher Education, Forbes, Stanford Social Innovation Review, the Chronicle of Philanthropy, Youth Today, and the New York Times.
Aarti Doshi has been with Children’s Hope India since 2013. She oversees donor relations and finances for the organization. Prior to working at CHI, she was assisting with Financial Aid and admissions at Spartan Health Sciences University. Aarti received her bachelor’s degree from H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, University of Mumbai.
Mimi Chan brings an extensive background in digital marketing and web support, particularly in the areas of SEO, PPC, email marketing and social media. Her industry experience includes financial, consulting, and technology but considers working for a non-profit organization like CHI to be the most inspiring and fulfilling. Mimi received her bachelor’s degree from NYU and Web Designer certificate from Adelphi University.
Sunita Dewan, Chugh LLP Suneeta Dewan is a senior partner at Chugh LLP. Prior to that, Suneeta ran a highly successful boutique immigration practice, Dewan & Associates PLLC. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the American Association of University Women. A committed activist, Suneeta is involved in supporting numerous social causes protecting the rights of women, children and immigrants. Suneeta was born in India where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from St. Francis College and her master’s degree in Economics from Osmania University in Hyderabad. She currently lives in New Jersey with her family.
Sunita Manjrekar is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) with over 17 years of experience and proven leadership specializing in the field of substance abuse and workforce development. Sunita has also worked on behalf of Nassau County Dept. of Social Services (NCDSS), where she developed innovative programs to help the public assistance population achieve self-sufficiency and economic independence.
